Web Sites of Interest…

Who are the Knights of Columbus? We're an organization of Catholic men dedicated to service of our Church, our Community, and our Country. For a more complete understanding of where we come from, read about the History of the Knights.

First and foremost, the Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Organization. Here are some sites of interest to all Catholics:

Looking for something worth watching on Cable TV? Check out the listings for EWTN (The Eternal Word Television Network) (which, incidentally, is heavily supported by the Knights of Columbus).

Interested in a return to prayer? Check out this site. The Liturgy of the Hours is explained, and Lauds (prayers of the Morning), Vespers (prayers of the Evening), and Compline (prayers before Retiring) are provided, with different psalms and scripture readings every day as prescribed in the 1985 revisions to this centuries-old institution.

How about the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary? Here's a  site that provides all of the prayers and explains the sequences that make up this beautiful Devotion to our Blessed Mother. And, for those of you with a computer, but no rosary beads, you can download your Virtual Rosary free of charge!

And, what Catholic website would be complete without a link to the Vatican?

Next, the Knights of Columbus is a Patriotic Organization. For our Council in Hightstown, this means we need links to...

...our Federal Government. These include links to the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives.

...and our home State of New Jersey

Of course, we must also provide a link to our home office: Supreme Council, New Haven, CT  as well as our State Council Website.

Hightstown Council #6284 is one of 10 councils whose Fourth Degree Sir Knights are members of the Bishop Griffin Assembly (Greater Mercer County Area).

Finally, Hightstown Council  Knights are proud to sponsor two BSA units:  Cub Scout Pack 6284 and Boy Scout Troop 6284.
