Brother Knights,

I've never heard the following complaint: "I am retired and I saved too much money." I usually hear the opposite! It's not too late to start or add to your IRA with a Knights of Columbus Annuity. If your wife needs an IRA she can also start one with the Knights of Columbus. A Roth IRA = tax free growth and tax free withdrawals (after age 591/2 and f years from initial contribution); a traditional IRA = maybe a tax write off for contributions with tax deferred growth.  Taxes are paid when you make your withdrawals. Also, the amount htat you can contribute is going up; a list is below.

Year (Under 50 yrs old)
Maximum Contribution
(Over 50 yrs old)
Maximum Contribution
2003 $3000 $3500
2004 $3000 $3500
2005 $4000 $4500
2006 $4000 $5000
2007 $4000 $5000
2008 $5000 $6000

Contact our Fiend Agent for full details on how you and your wife can save for retirement.
